Freedom Ride

Join hundreds of Tasmanian's who care to raise funds for Pathways at our annual 2019 Freedom Ride, Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Unfortunately we will be cancelling this year’s annual Freedom Ride. It’s unfortunate for a whole range of reasons, but we can’t afford to be irresponsible to our community. The Freedom Ride is about bringing hope. Hope for those suffering from homelessness. Hope for those trapped in addictions. If we were to proceed this year we run the risk of it bringing just the opposite, and we are not willing to accept that.

If you have signed up for this year’s ride we will happily count your registration towards our next event. If you would instead like a refund, please email Matthew Devenish at with your name and bank details and he will get you sorted.

Finally, if you were considering making a donation towards us please continue to do so! Now more than ever we need your help. Cancelling this event leaves us with the possibility of being short of the funds we need to meet our operational needs. Can you help us to make sure this is not the case? You can still make your tax deductible donations at or at

Thank you for ongoing support of the vital work that we do.

We can be the difference between hopelessness, despair, addiction and hope

So far more than 120 men have been referred to our live-in Velocity Transformations alcohol and drug rehabilitation program since it kicked-off in Hobart back in 2016. It is your generosity that makes a difference in the lives of the men, and soon women, who use our services. Thank you so much, because without you, it would not have been possible.
