Want to join an organisation that is making a difference in Tasmania and be an integral part of keeping our programs running? This role will involve running our two major annual fundraising events, writing grants, managing our overall fundraising programs and assisting in our admin office.

The Role

To be responsible for meeting fundraising targets by encouraging current and potential supporters to organise fundraising events, as well as organising our own promotional and fundraising events. To work with individuals, communities and businesses to raise awareness of our work, aims and goals and seek a long-term financial partnership with them. Ultimately, to increase the contributions of those individuals and groups by building relationships and exploring new fundraising techniques and ideas.  

This role also includes administrative support requirements for the Business Manager, which is expected to comprise an average of approximately 30% of the workload of the position, changing seasonally.

The hours for this role are negotiable between 3 and 5 days per week and working from home for parts of the week is an option.

About Pathways Tasmania

Pathways Tasmania has been operating in its current structure since 2008. We provide two main service offerings to the local community. One is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program and the other a medium term shelter for young homeless males. Our homeless shelter, Launch Youth, has been operating for over 30 years and is the only shelter of its kind in Tasmania. Velocity Transformations, our drug and alcohol rehabilitation program currently has a residential program for men and we will be opening a women's program in the coming months, bringing our residential capacity to over 20.


This position is on the SCHACDS Award level 4.1-5.1 offering $70,00-80,000 per year Full Time Equivalent plus salary sacrifice benefits that increase your take home pay by the equivalent of an extra ~$10,000 per year salary.
